Get your Lollapalooza duds on before the big event…
Lollapalooza, to be held August 3rd-5th in Chicago, is launching a new pop-up shop concept with the first-ever “LollaShop” and relating events transpiring at the Thompson Hotel Lounge (where you can get your yoga on too).
This temporary shop is the very first time ticket and non-ticket holders will have the opportunity to get the party started early and buy official goods before the gates open on August 3rd.
VIP events including listening parties and performances at the LollaShop will take place in the Thompson Hotel Lounge, a lounge and performance space designed to resemble a modern rock lounge. The lounge will offer a conceptual preview of the highly anticipated Thompson Chicago, opening in 2013.
Yoga Instructor Margo Kellison will lead morning classes in the Thompson Hotel Lounge at the LollaShop, August 3rd-5th at 9 a.m. The classes are free and open to the public. Space is limited and guests should bring their own mat. RSVP at do312.com/LollaShop.
The LollaShop will be open to the public and will serve as a unique extension of the popular festival and will include T-shirts and branded items offered in the festival grounds, the official Lollapalooza T-shirt provided by Gap, as well as brand experiences by retail partners including Sony, Baggu, Goorin Bros., Rad + Refined, JammyPack and Threadless. The LollaShop will feature everything from musical fanny packs and stylish hats to the official Lolla T-shirt.
