Actors & actresses got theirs from In-N-Out at the Vanity Fair party, here’s where you can get yours too
At some point, Oscar-winning actresses became associated with the uncannily unglamorous late-night stop at the local LA burger joint. Golden statue in hand, decked in designer gown and borrowed jewels, impossibly thin winners claim, they scarfed down fast food while hordes of wannabes passed over the finger food. This year, In-N-Out came to them with trays of bun-bedecked patties making the rounds at Vanity Fair’s shindig, the biggest and best party of all.
So now that the marathon telecast has aired, and awards dished out until next year, you can get a burger fix of your own at one of these three prime spots in LA.
LA’s wildly popular Umami Burger, which capitalizes on the savory fifth taste, umami, is a must visit when in LA. We love their down-home flavor with homemade ingredients and condiments, hand-grinding, and artisanal cooking methods.
This gourmet option comes exquisitely bloody with a side of fries in a silver cup. Topped with Vermont cheddar, the $18 delight ranks high on any connoisseur’s list, and will more than satisfy anyone with a penchant for medium rare perfection.
OK, so this is the obvious choice, but there’s no denying the rare pleasure of hitting up the West Coast chain when in California. As far as fast food goes, your ingredients are decent, service is delivered with a smile, and let’s face it, Animal style just rules.
