GQ teams up with Northern Grade on an American-made menswear pop-up in DUMBO in NYC
The magazine and the market guru have teamed up on a menswear pop-up celebrating “USA-made goods and gear,” running March 22nd-23rd at the Powerhouse Arena in DUMBO. The GQ-hosted Northern Grade bazaar will feature the latter’s usual roster of domestic designers, including Pierrepont Hicks (run by Northern Grade founders Katherine and MacMillan), JW Hulme, Almond Surfboards, Askov Finlayson, Billy Reid, Noble Denim, and several more.
Northern Grade’s native New York kicks off a nationwide tour—stops to follow include Nashville, Austin, Chicago, LA, and Minneapolis through the fall season—and the debut event will keep its shoppers sated with local food, booze, and music over the course of the weekend.
Pop-ups are the NYC trend that shows no sign of slowing down, so hop on the East River Ferry and spend an afternoon like a certain local.
