We’d gladly walk a mile in Gianvitto Rossi’s latest
Some stores are just too pretty to window shop. Shoe maker Gianvitto Rossi’s London boutique is the latest installment in the international footwear dynasty (after all, his father is Sergio Rossi) – and a solidly jaw-dropping step into his own right as a shoe design force. Stopping at calling it a “shop” wouldn’t quite do it justice: imagining exiting rainy London streets only to find you’ve been transported to a space full of fantasy shoes come true. From the “Great Britain” plexi finished with a demure Union Jack to the lightning-bolted “Sparkle” pump, there are enough patent, jeweled, and reflective surfaces in the joint to warrant more than a few hard blinks – and big spends.
