A perfect visual union of your childhood toy indulgence of choice and the real, live Cali-cool art scene.Through May 26th, the Forest Lawn Museum present design up-and-comer David Tracy’s “A Million and One Pieces” – a contemporary stroll through functional-looking pieces, life-scale chairs, and requisite kook (think rounded globes and royal blue skulls) that happen when a LEGO generation kid grows up and gets himself an art world pedigree Everything from contemporary furniture to sculptures will be in display, and made entirely of LEGO bricks. Assembly’s taken care of. And that’s just where the fun begins.
