This Holiday season, Belgraves London in conjunction with A Space For Art, unveiled their much-anticipated annual Christmas window installation, created by emerging paper-cutting artist Terry Jackson of Cutting Edge Frames UK. Using intricate hand-crafted paper cutting techniques and clever lighting, Terry has created an ethereal multi-layered 3D winter woodland scene to fill the hotel’s large window. The installation will be in place until the New Year.
Taking inspiration from the luxury hotel and its surroundings in the heart of tree-lined Knightsbridge, Terry has reflected this landscape by blending nature and the urban cityscape into a striking installation. The enchanting woodland scene features animals, trees and snow, evoking memories of Christmases gone by. Furthermore, a large Christmas tree dominates the scene, framed by a cityscape reminiscent of New York City that points to the hotel’s American roots. The eight-layer installation is back lit, resulting in a magical three dimensional festive silhouette guaranteed to captivate hotel guests and passers-by alike.
