Demystifying the world’s most delicious substance—chocolate!
If devouring chocolate while learning about the mystery and history of the cocoa bean appeals to you then the 9th Annual International Chocolate Festival in Miami over three days January 23th-25th, is exactly where you should be.
Scientists and chocolate aficionados from around the world will be holding interactive talks, rainforest walks, and tastings over the three-day festival. Renowned chefs will be holding cooking demonstrations and for kids there’s the Choco Walk where they can learn about the life cycle of the cacao plant and get their Choco Passports stamped. There’s also family yoga and for those adults looking for cooling ale, there’s a beer garden set up inside the Fairchild Botanical Garden’s grounds. You can even buy a cacao tree to take home if you’re so inclined to start your own cacao forest.
