The best view & food in town
Eat, drink, and be merry with famed Williamsburg restaurateur Mark Firth of Diner and Marlow & Sons at his latest venture Grand Banks. The snazzy raw bar is based on the deck of a 1942 wooden tall ship, the Sherman Zwicker, at Pier 25 (right by Tribeca) for the summer.
The 142-foot-long ship, the largest wooden vessel in New York, has been converted into a traveling museum, and is the most divine place to take in a sunset in the city. It’s a little known gem, we recommend sneaking down and only telling your very good friends about it so it stays quietly cool and understated.
