We’ve tracked down the very best deep-dish stuffed pizza in Chicago. We didn’t enjoy that job at all 😉
It’s at My Pie. My Pie’s deep-dish dough recipe was developed from the family’s fourth generation baker whose family came to the United States from Bialystock, Belarus in 1905. The recipe, made fresh everyday, is timed so the third “proofing” of the dough is done in the oven so each pizza has a wonderful fresh yeast taste and a crispness that remains tender to the bite.
Visit My Pie Pizza in Bucktown (2010 N Damen Street Chicago, Il). Warning, there are only a few seats, but if you can squeeze in it’s well worth it.
