Move over Hudson River views, outer space is taking over…
Every Tuesday night on The Highline on the west side of the Meatpacking District, (at the 14th Street entrance) the Amateur Astronomers Association gives you a chance to behold the stars, planets and the moon with their high-powered telescopes.
This astronaut-worthy view of the stars is almost unheard from the center of New York City. You’ll be able to gaze at the constellations and have the pros explain which twinkle is what.
Viewing times and locations along the High Line are subject to change due to weather. Check back or follow @highlinenyc on Twitter for updates every Tuesday by 3:00 PM.
