Celebrate the opening of stone crab season at The Coconut Grove Seafood Festival on October 18th. There will be bushels of shrimp, oysters, crawfish, lobster, clams and fresh fish prepared in a multitude of influences. Caribbean styles like Bahamian cracked conch and Jamaican Jerk grilled fish will be available, then there’s the Latin American offering with paella and Peruvian ceviche, Cajun with its gumbo, jambalaya and crawfish étouffée. Don’t forget the North Eastern offering with traditional chowders, lobster rolls, and last but not least, the Stone Crabs themselves.
We suggest going for the VIP option which provides an escape from the heat and crowds (only 300 available). Inside you can sip on complimentary beer and cocktails while sampling great offerings from the sea. VIP Access includes, private entrance (no lines), VIP Lounge, seafood canapés, complimentary Bar, and a cigar pairing & hand rolled cigars (for those so inclined).
There will be an array of music for everyone including calypso, steel drum, reggae and Island Escapism.
