Mix with locals and support local industry
So often we try to find the “coolest” places that are off-the-beaten-path, and that’s great, of course! But sometimes it’s fun to go to an old-school tourist market with colorful trinkets and souvenirs made by locals and sold by locals. Plaza Artesanos San José del Cabo delivers on this and more. It is home to over 75 vendors selling authentic Mexican jewelry, clothing, tote bags, rugs hand-stitched dresses, silver items and ceramics.
Located on Boulevard Mijares, between Valerio Gonzales and Paseo Misiones, in San José del Cabo, the marketplace, it is open daily from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.
