Toronto’s eclectic spirit revealed
Now through February 6th, Framing Toronto will be on display at The Market Gallery in the heart of the city. This exhibit showings Toronto’s own art collection, in addition to new acquisitions from the last five years. The stunning and varied collection procured since the 1850s includes over 2500 paintings, prints and sculptures. Works are as wide ranging as James Nye’s Urban Wear documenting city graffiti, to the exquisite wedding portrait of a British officer and his bride dated c.1802-1814.
Find the show at The Market Gallery 2nd Floor, South St. Lawrence Market 95 Front Street East.
