Toronto’s Biggest Dance Party is Back

DJs and artists get down at the Art Gallery of Ontario

On the first Thursday of every month Toronto’s cool kids can be found at the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) for a night of artistic collaboration between musicians, visual and performance artists and more. There’ll be pop-up talks on the subject of geography, memory and belonging, happening throughout the night, as well as live DJ performances and of course an open bar.

On Thursday February 11th the evening’s programming will be devoted to Beijing avant-garde artist Song Dong, featuring musical headliner Casey Mecija (formerly of Toronto band Ohbijou) who is launching her first solo project with visuals by filmmaker Sammy Rawal; guest speakers from the Syrian Film Festival and France (AGO Artist-in-Residence Jérôme Havre); artists Alvis Choi (a.k.a Alvis Parsley), Andil Gosine with Matthew Ryan Smith; and music by DJ Stunts (of Yes Yes Y’All) and Cam Lee (Feministry).

Get your tickets here and book in advance for March.
