Bluegrass, Balkan music, banjos & more
Are you a fan of the fiddle? Want to find out? Hit the 8th annual Brooklyn Folk Festival from April 8th to 10th to discover a three-day musical extravaganza bringing together over 30 bands so you can experience transporting traditional Balkan music, Bluegrass melodies, and (of course) some damn fine fiddling. There’ll also be vocal and instrumental workshops, dance, jam sessions, film screenings, and the famous Banjo Toss contest.
This year the festival will be held at in heart of historic Brooklyn Heights in the beautiful St. Ann’s Church located at 157 Montague Street between Clinton and Henry Street. We suggest taking a brisk walk over the Brooklyn Bridge on your way to get you in the mood.
