Improv Fest Takes Over Chicago

What do Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert have in common with Martin Short and Bob Hope? They all started their comedy careers on Chicago’s stages. Now it’s your chance to see the newest crop of comedians at work at The Chicago Improv Festival May 2nd–8th. Highlights this year include Lauren Ash and Leslie Seller, who perform together as CORY!; Improvised Sondheim and Hitch*Cocktails; and a live recording of the improvised podcast Hello from the Magic Tavern.

This year the festival is partnering with Theatre Momentum to present the 10th year of the 15-Hour Project, a day-long event conceived by artist Tony Rielage, taking place on May 7th, 2016. Plan to see this and more here.
