This Museum Goes to Eleven
Star architect Frank Gehry designed Seattle’s EMP Museum with rock ‘n’ roll in mind. As the story goes, he used guitar pieces as building blocks for an early model design.
This summer, the museum is mounting such exhibitions as Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds, Wild Blue Angel: Hendrix Abroad, 1968-1970, and Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses, just to name a few. The titles alone promise some high-voltage experiences.
