Cookies, Croissants, Caramel, and More
Advance warning: looking at Bakery Nouveau’s Instagram account might inspire some serious pastry envy (you’ll see maple butter & sausage croissants, twice baked chocolate croissants, and caramel apple tarts). The only cure is visiting the bakery itself. With two locations, one in West Seattle and one in Capitol Hill, the bakery is spreading its sugary delicacies where it can. For Mardi Gras on the 28th, pick up their New Orleans style King Cake, a decadent filled pastry with purple, yellow, and green sugar adorning the top. Cut the slice hiding a plastic baby and you’re guaranteed good luck.
We’re among some major, noteworthy fans too: Zagat gave the bakery a score of 28 out of 30 possible points. The Stranger, Sunset Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and more publications have all expressed their love for Bakery Nouveau as well. This place could cause a serious toothache—in the best way possible.
