A Dope Conference
At some point during the last few years, marijuana’s image graduated from stoner college requisite to potential business proposition. Now decriminalized in many parts of Canada and the U.S., the drug has spawned new interest in entrepreneurship and agriculture. Harvard Law School even offers a “tax plan for marijuana dealers” course.
Needless to say, stakes are getting higher (pun intended) as competition increases. As the Canadian market grows, the O’Cannabiz Conference and Expo from April 21–23 will inform eager participants about new skills, advocacy and legislation, and more. Physicians, industry professionals, and licensed producers will all gather to chat weed. Attend a business breakfast for women, learn how to grow medical marijuana, and attend a best practices session. Central to the festivities and courses, the expo will offer a stellar opportunity to network away. Plus, don’t miss singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge’s performance.
