A Taste of the Bayou
A little messy and very colorful, the traditional spring crawfish boil is an opportunity to commune with friends over a fun, casual meal. Somehow, the juicy red fish seem to taste better the more difficult it is to peel them and extract the meat: an activity and triumph in itself.
No need to travel down to New Orleans, either. Hit the Ragin’ Cajun Crawfish Boil in Cumberland Park on April 8. Help the city consume over 4,000 pounds of fresh crawfish while listening to local bands. The event will benefit Greenways for Nashville, which raises awareness and private support for the city’s outdoor spaces. So as you litter the park with red shell, you’re also helping to beautify Nashville.
