A Historic Farmer’s Market in a Future Hub
The Weston Farmers’ Market is one of Toronto’s oldest gathering places for local vendors. Now in its 37th season, the market will begin operating again from the Saturday before Mother’s Day (May 13th) through the last Saturday in October. Check out the Albion Hills Farm boot for a selection of cured and smoked meats to liven up any sandwich. Lincoln Line Orchards offers apples, pears, peaches, strawberries, sweet corn, and more of the freshest produce to eat on its own or in a larger recipe. Marigold’s Maple Syrup and Menos Pure Virgin Olive Oil have perfected their own single products.
Watch as Weston becomes a big hub—a major Artscape, which broke ground last summer, will bring artist live-work spaces as well as an outdoor programming venue to the area. Slated to open in late 2018, the project will also comprise approximately 8,200 square feet of indoor space for community organizations and public arts programming.
