Craft Beer Nirvana in Grant Park
There was nothing wrong with the first two editions, but the third time still might be the charm for the Chicago Ale Fest. Year three of the summer edition will bring 200+ American craft beers from over 100 American craft breweries to Butler Field in Grant Park from June 23-24. Itching for Michigan cider? Check. Vander Mill Hard Ciders and Virtue Cider can help. Want a taste of the West Coast? The Lost Abbey (San Marco, CA) and The Commons Brewery (Portland, OR) have you covered. Not that you need to justify your ticket purchase, but a portion of the fest proceeds will benefit Grant Park Conservancy. Drink to preserve Chicago’s green spaces!
Onsite food trucks allow you to pair your brew with some local grub. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, sushi, sausage, or lobster, you won’t go hungry. Plus, there’s live music to serenade your consumption. Next to the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan, you’ll be in one of the city’s best spots for summer fun.
