Midtown Gets Cool This August
Midtown Manhattan gets a bad rap. Sure, it’s often filled with tourists, naked cowboys, and people in suits rushing to and from major corporate jobs. This summer, though, it’s also going to be home to some of the island’s best food stands. For dumplings, donuts, and more delicious options head to the Midtown Munchies pop-up event on August 11th and 18th. Pop Up New York—which is also affiliated with Chelsea Eats, Meatpacking Mkt, and LICeats—will organize the event. You’ll enjoy hand-crafted food by local entrepreneurs while raising money and awareness for a local charity. (Past pop-ups have given back to such organizations as NYPD, 92Y, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, and Visiting Neighbors.)
The vendor list is yet to be revealed, but based on past events, we’re predicting global goodies that will satisfy both sweet and savory cravings.
Follow popupny for some serious food pics and news of future celebrations.
Midtown Munchies is located at 52nd Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenue.
Hours are 10AM–6PM.
