Every great holiday party needs an inventive cocktail menu. We spoke to Nestor Can and his mixology team at The Cape Hotel in Cabos San Lucas to hear what they’re mixing up this holiday season to get everyone feeling festive. On the list? Think warm seasonal flavors like cinnamon, clove, and apple – served in style and gracefully garnished. The best part? You can make them at home for your guests all season long.

 

MOKAYA RAICILLA
• 1oz. Amaretto
• 1oz. White chocolate
• ½oz. Banana syrup
• 1.5oz. Raicilla
• Cinnamon
• Maraschino cherry

Pour the ingredients in a Boston glass add ice and shake vigorously and strain into old fashioned glass with fresh ice.
Garnish: Cinnamon powder, orange peel and maraschino cherry.

ROMPOPE RAICILLA
•1 Pc. Egg Yolk
•2oz. Milk
•3pc. Clove
•1pc. Cinnamon stick
•2pc Star Anise
•1.5oz. Raicilla
•Sugar to taste

Boil the milk with the spices, add the yolk mixed with sugar, let stand for 20 min, add the Raicilla to taste and serve in Cocktail glass with fresh ice.
Garnish: cinnamon powder, mint sprig and anise

GINGER PIE
•1oz. Ginger syrup
•2oz. Lychee juice
•1oz. Apple juice
•2oz. Red wine

Pour the ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, and shake. Serve in old fashioned glass with fresh ice.
Garnish: orange slice and apple wheel

APPLE WINE
•2oz. White wine
•¾oz. Sherry liquor
•2oz. Orange juice
•1oz. Apple juice
•¾oz. Honey

Pour the ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, and shake. Serve in Collins glass with fresh ice.
Garnish: lime wheel and apple slices
