It’s Now or Never, for a trip to the Symphony

This January, Nashville’s symphony celebrates hip-twisting hits in addition to classical music. From January 18th to 20th, the Schermerhorn Symphony hosts Terry Mike Jeffrey, the only Elvis Presley singer endorsed by Graceland (the King’s former Memphis home). The famed musician’s former spouse, Priscilla Presley, makes a special appearance to share stories from their time together.

If you like a little visual stimulation to accompany your auditory delights, consider the symphony’s presentation of The Earth: An HD Odyssey, featuring Also Sprach Zarathustra, from January 12 to 13. While the orchestra performs Strauss’s epic music, you’ll watch images of Earth taken from NASA missions. The entire performance will help you think cosmically about what you want 2018 to look like.
