Eco Friendly Enjoyment
At Punta Venado, enjoy 1990 acres of jungle and 2.5 miles of beach. The bike park includes 16 miles of trails that wind through both dirt and sand, offering vistas of both ocean and forest. Whether you’re into horseback riding or ATVs, kayaking or exploring caverns (or just relaxing under an umbrella!), activities abound for visitors of all energy levels.
When you get hungry, visit Blue Venado Beach Club. Sit underneath their palapa (a traditional, open-air Mexican shelter with a roof made of branches or palm leaves), gazing at the Caribbean Sea. Savor Mediterranean cuisine and a variety of fine fish dishes. Take your pick from four different types of ceviche (classic, served with different types of chilis, or accompanied by guacamole). Pasta dishes abound, from homemade tagliatelle with bolognese sauce to handmade spaghetti with lobster. Nachos are never a bad call. Order a mojito to complete the meal. After a day of adventuring, relax in Thompson Playa del Carmen’s comfortable accommodations or pamper yourself at our on-site spa.
