Music for Everyone, Everywhere
From July 20th to 22nd, Capit0l Hill Block Party takes over six blocks of the Pike/Pine corridor for three days of music from national and local artists. With five stages, indoor and outdoor venues, multiple beer gardens, and VIP lounges, the festival showcases promising local talent alongside big name performers across a variety of genres.
Since it was founded (with only one stage) in 1997, CHBP now welcomes 20,000+ attendees and never fails to bring Seattle and neighboring cities together. Big names this year include: the yearning, ironic, spirited discontent of Father John Misty, the funk stylings of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and genre-bending boyband collective BROCKHAMPTON. Don’t miss local artists either: we hear good things about Dude York, Parisalexa, and Great Grampa (who are carrying the Seattle grunge-pop torch forward).
