Hidden Treasure in Plain Sight
Jeweler Eduardo Sanchez honed his craft in Florence and Rome before setting up shop in Cabo in 2010. Working exclusively in fine metals—predominantly silver, with some titanium and gold in the mix—most of his creations are unique designs, all of which are crafted by his own hand. Eye-catching but stylishly restrained, his signature collection incorporates Mexican and European coins (including rare 18th century Spanish dollars) into the designs. While undeniably statement-making, Eduardo Sanchez’s fine jewelry is anything but gaudy.
Although he’s opened up two outposts further afield, his original boutique and studio are housed in a charming 19th century house on Calle Blvd. Antonio Mijares. Stop by on a weekday and you might find him manning the floor himself.
