Sundown Yacht Club is the first Australian restaurant in all of Mexico. Did Mexico need an Australian restaurant? We’re not sure, but we’re happy to be in such expert hands: Sundown was opened by the team behind Burke and Wills and The Manhattan Cricket Club on New York’s Upper West Side.
If you’re wondering what elevated Australian cuisine looks like, the answer is: good, it looks good. People rave about their raw bar, the rack of lamb, and other grilled goodies. They take mixology seriously, too, and the cocktails are reputed to be divine.
