Floating Pictures

In an event totally unique to Toronto, Sail-In Cinema invites you to anchor your boat and enjoy David Bowie’s Labyrinth on a giant floating screen that’s nearly two stories high. Alternatively, grab a spot on the beach and bring a picnic.

In 2017, Sail-In Cinema attracted 11,000 people and over 100 boats. If you do decide to float by, the hospitality boat will provide snacks, and the movie’s audio will broadcast to radio frequencies 90.50000 and 95.50000 MHz. Anyone without a boat (or sea legs) is advised to view the movie from Sugar Beach at 25 Dockside Drive, Corus Quay, a short drive or journey on the TTC from Thompson.
