Country Music, Sports, and Fried Chicken
Conveniently located in The Gulch, Thompson Nashville is a great hub to explore the city. While you’re spoiled for choice of what to do, here’s a selection of classic activities you shouldn’t miss while you’re in town.
The Johnny Cash Museum is dedicated to the man whose contribution to music and culture made him a rightful legend. Situated in the same building as the Patsy Cline Museum, you can bone up on your knowledge of country stars even further.
Get some air and don’t miss the views of the city and skyline from the Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge, which links 22 miles of bike and pedestrian paths.
At some point, you’ll get hungry. Come experience fried chicken, Nashville-style, at Hattie B’s, which also serves killer sides, plus banana pudding for dessert.
You can’t leave town without catching a show at the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry music show and “the mother church” of country music.
