The Name Says It All
Known locally as a “breakfast mecca,” Biscuit Love is where you can get pretty much anything you want on a biscuit.
From its humble beginnings as an airstream food truck, Biscuit Love has expanded to three locations in Music City, all of which make their flaky, buttery biscuits from scratch. Biscuit Love is also the inventor of the “bonut,” a biscuit-donut hybrid.
Not for the faint- or weak-hearted, the East Nasty (which won Bon Appétit’s Sandwich of the Year) tops a crispy strip of fried chicken with sausage gravy and sandwiches it between, you guessed it, the buttery halves of a biscuit. If you’re in the mood for something less gluttonous (and gluten-y), try their French omelette with Boursin cheese or the shrimp and grits.
Biscuit Love does not take reservations, so expect a line out the door. But the food and fast, friendly service are worth the wait—promise. Open from 7am to 3pm every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Location information can be found here.
