Oliver & Sinclair is Tennessee’s only bean-to-bar chocolatier—purveyors of self-proclaimed “Southern Artisan Chocolate.” They’ve created a product that’s elevated, hip, and tasty—and as true to the region as skillet cornbread.

Matching traditional slow-roasted, stone-ground beans with brown sugar results in a texture and rich flavor unique to Oliver & Sinclair’s creations. They also like to add a local culinary twist: elements like bourbon nib brittle, duck fat caramel, and buttermilk white chocolate. They take typography and design as seriously as cocoa, resulting in some seriously delightful packaging.

While you could opt to skip the tour and visit the shop, the tour offers the opportunity to sample their unique creations and admire their collection of machines from all over the world. And while you’re there, may we also recommend purchasing a pack of Seersucker Originals, tiny nuggets of chocolate ganache finished with Mediterranean sea salt.
