So Many Choices
There’s a lot of good comedy in Seattle this month, although you’re going to have to make at least one tough choice if you want to see it all:
Grammy winner Lewis Black brings his tour, The Joke’s on US, to the historic Pantages Theater. Experience Black’s curmudgeonly brand of stand-up comedy on January 12th.
With no shortage of new material, The New Yorker’s favorite satirist Andy Borowitz takes to the stage at The Moore Theater on January 16th.
Judge John Hodgman takes a break from The Daily Show to respond to real-life disputes such as: is chili a stew? Is this room an office or a den? When does someone else’s Chinese food become abandoned property? His verdicts will be delivered at The Neptune Theater, also on January 16th.
Finally, comedy duo Middleditch & Schwartz perform long-form improv at The Moore Theater on January 27th. Between them, Ben Schwartz and Thomas Middleditch have won and been nominated for several Emmys, published several hilarious books, and played roles on shows like Parks and Recreation and Silicon Valley.
