Seattle Late Night Eats

Eating Around

No Compromises

It’s late, you’re hungry, and you want a delicious snack. Lucky for you, there are several fantastic late-night dining options close to the Thompson Seattle.

Rocco’s sources the finest organic and local ingredients and proves that late-night pizza can be delicious fresh and (kind of) healthy. Served by the slice, the half, or the whole pie, Rocco’s offers New York–style pizza with classic or sophisticated options, such as gorgonzola and Bosc pear, or truffle oil and mushroom. For the more daring among you, there are unusual toppings such as hummus and falafel.

Just around the corner from the Thompson, Zig Zag Cafe serves artisanal cocktails and bar snacks until 1am. This is where bartender Murray Stenson popularized the prohibition-era cocktail Last Word, which became a cult hit all over the city in the early aughts. On the food menu, you’ll find deviled eggs, grilled veggies, fries piled high with feta, kebabs served with tzatziki, Greek lasagna, and a killer burger.

Ba Bar has three outlets in Seattle, with the Capitol Hill location offering elevated Vietnamese street food until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays and 2am Thursdays and Sundays. The menu downsizes after 11pm, but plenty of delicious options remain. Fresh-made spring rolls are stuffed with wild prawns, woodear mushrooms, and organic Carlton Farms pork. And their signature bún ch and phò noodle dishes are prepared with the same level of care and precise sourcing.
