Celebrating Winter, Chicago-Style

You might find yourself traveling to Wrigley Field whether or not you’re a Cubs fan. The park at Wrigley, now known as Gallagher Way, has transformed in recent years to host a roster of seasonal events, such as farmer’s markets, Christmas markets, and, at the moment, Winterland.

Offering the chance to make the best of the weather, the organizers at Winterland invite you to try activities you might not have thought of otherwise, such as curling. If you prefer a more familiar experience, there’s an ice rink and hot drinks galore.

You can also enjoy a very cool light exhibit: Chimes is a random disorder of 30 lights that create a unique light show when disturbed—either by a gust of wind or by hand. You’re invited to play, and of course, take photos.

Running until January 27th, every afternoon, 3–9pm, and all day weekends, 11am–9pm.
