This month, two of today’s pre-eminent humorists are in town, reading from new books, sharing wisdom, and answering audience questions.
David Sedaris will be at Benaroya Hall on November 10th for his annual reading and signing. The celebrated master of satire will be reading from Calypso, his latest collection of essays, a New York Times best-seller and Washington Post Best Book of the Year, as well as treating the audience to some of his works-in-progress.
Seattle native Lindy West will appear at Seattle Town Hall on November 26th, sharing her outrageously funny and often deeply-personal work. West is the author of 2016 sensation Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman, which she adapted for Hulu in 2018 to widespread glowing reviews. Her upcoming new book, an essay collection, is titled The Witches Are Coming.
