The Waverly Inn’s Secret Shutterbug
By night, Roger Jazilek can be found behind the bar at The Waverly Inn. He’s the debonair tender with the slicked-back white hair, who looks as if he might have been recruited from the Overlook Hotel. (“Your money’s no good here, sir.”) But by day (and we presume, from some of these shots, by late-late night too), Jazilek has a second vocation: erotic black-and-white photography, one parts Helmut Newton, and a shot of Joel Peter Witkin.
