Gibson Revives One Cool Classic
The famed Gibson guitar company, founded in 1902 and headquartered in Nashville, has helped many a budding rock god’s dreams come true. From Pete Townshend to Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix to John Lennon, Gibsons have long held center stage. Now the company is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its legendary 1960 ES-335TD semi-hollow model with an authentically designed special edition. With a “fast neck” profile and period correct hardware such as dot fingerboard inlays, a full-length maple centerblock, nickel-plated hardware, and an antiqued finish, it looks as good as it sounds. And that’s pretty damn good. From $5,645.
