We only know this: Hemingway’s is the name of a new nightclub opening up, Hollywood way, a sprawling affair rife with trophy heads and rifle-and-books imagery. There’s a loud buzz surrounding it, and the VIP opening was said to be happening in the next week. We’ll keep you updated. But from what we hear, a little bit of toasty testosterone from the Old School is as welcome as a single-malt whiskey, neat, on the Other Coast. Naturally, Manhattan’s Freemans-vibed hunt clubs would take a while to cross the country to L.A. But that’s…OK! Make ours a double-barrel shotgun.
