In stroke of casting genius, Sacha Baron Cohen’s playing Freddie Mercury in upcoming bio-pic.
From the screenplay writer of “Frost/Nixon,” will now come “Baron/Mercury,” or a new GK Fim-produced bio-pic about the life of the great fairy-butch Queen Singer, and his pomp-and-circumstance rise and tragic fall-the latter due to complications from the HIV virus. If Baron can do dramatic, and not turn it into camp-out farce, he could be an Oscar contender. He can sing, we know that much-and at least it’s not George Michael.
