“Pure,” the title of famed Belgian photographer Frank De Mulder’s new book from German uber-luxury publisher teNeues, is a bit of a double entendre. It refers to the fact that the lovely ladies within are pictured sans clothes, of course, but it also references De Mulder’s adherence to a creed of purity – no fancy filters or photo-shopping here. Actually, make that a triple entendre – we would also avow that for the most part the book’s beauties have not been surgically enhanced in any way.
