Through October 22nd, NYC’s Gagosian Gallery is giving Elizabeth Taylor her 1 millionth close-up. At least it’s the guy who got it right: Andy Warhol. The show, “Andy Warhol: Liz,” features Warhol’s silkscreen paintings of the nut-job diva with the demented emerald eyes and booze-soaked visage (still beloved), culminated in one big shoe for the first time ever–miraculous when you think of it.
