Nick Cave’s wildly imaginative ‘soundsuits’ would make Duchamp take notice…and the CFDA.
As a “where the wild things were” encore to Art Basel, last week the artist Nick Cave showed off his “soundsuits” in a spectacle curated by our Manhattan neighbor and man about town Neville Wakefield within Hanger 102 of Opa-Locka Executive Airport (whatever the heck that is). Described as an enchanted forest backdrop, the spectacle appears like one to not have missed. Check out the duds, of which they are not, in this photo gallery of some of the furry, feathery, sticks-y standouts. The best party is that you can wear ‘em too!
