Are you Ready for Love? “Piaf Encore” with Patsy Gallant and Toronto Concert Orchestra.“Piaf Encore” is the latest offering in the musical tribute evenings to the great femmes fatales by the Toronto Concert Orchestra. “Edith Piaf was a natural choice to follow last year’s highly successful Billie Holiday show.” said TCO music director Kerry Stratton. “We were very fortunate to engage three time Juno winning chanteuse Patsy Gallant to sing these great Piaf songs and we’ll accompany her with TCO’s perfect nightclub band, Grand Salon.” Gallant who has appeared in top ten charts in five countries, recorded such hits as ‘From New York to L.A., Are You Ready for Love? and How Many Lonely Nights?’ The concert, which takes place September 29th at 8 PM at
the Glenn Gould Theatre ,CBC will feature many of the great tunes that made Edith Piaf an icon.
