The Jewish Museum will launch its new season of The Wind Up, a series of after-hours events with art, music, performance, drinks, socializing and more with CROSSING BORDERS: AN INTERNATIONAL BEER FESTIVAL. This international beer tasting is being co-organized by Shmaltz Brewing Company and the New York City Brewers Guild, featuring beers from England, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the U.S. Examples include: Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner, He’brew Hop Manna, and Funky Jewbelation, among others. In addition, the virtuoso brass band Slavic Soul Party! will perform its unique brand of Balkan and Gypsy sounds melded with American jazz and soul. Complimentary snacks will be served, and there will be an open bar.
