The Miami Beach Convention Center rolls out the runways (and sun’n’fun).
Manhattan, Paris, Milan, oh my! Through this Saturday, Miami Beach is taking fashion out of those weather-bleak ports, keeping the ball rolling, with plenty of pop-up boutiques, special music performances, Florida-indigenous designer-wares, and, on closing day, a “Milan to Miami” show featuring capsule collections by Cavalli, Iceberg, Byblos, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney and many other international playahs.
A nice time to extend your stay into the weekend at the Thompson Hotel’s stylish mid-century gem, Hotel Victor, on Ocean Drive. Wish we were there.
