The desert boot-sneaker rocks our world.
We’re seeing them showing up from our favorite designers, two of most go-to forms of footwear: the tennis shoe and the chukka boot.
Two of the best, featuring the shape of a desert boot but the crepe of a sneaker, are Bespoken Clothiers’ Aberdeen, in suede and leather; and the gray-suede number (also pictured) from Clae Stayhorn. I imagine that Cole Haan is working up a savvy version of the hybrid as we speak. Expect this to be the cocktail party casual hit from spring into summer, perfect for both casual suits and sporting attire.
